One custom made silk hanbok (traditional Korean dress) with undergarments, shoes, and accessories: 300,000 won (about $220 today)

Feeling like a Korean Princess: Priceless :D

I'm so excited! I went with my Korean Mommy today to order it. It's made out of silk and I got to pick the colors. The skirt and shoes are going to be red and the top is a pale yellow with embroidered butterflies. There will also be purple, but I'm none to sure where it'll go exactly. When the owner found out I was a Korean adoptee, she threw in some accessories for free. I'm not sure what they're for, but it'll be fun to see. I can pick it up the 22nd. Traditionally, one wears hanbok for special occasions like Lunar New Year (the 26th), but since I'll be skiing, I don't think I will. I know I'll find other times to wear it though :)

Yes Mom. I'll post pictures as soon as I can.
