Haven't been to the barn in weeks. Just started going to the gym again, because doing aerobic activity really helps control my asthma. Between getting sick and having summer come (that's when it's at its worst), I really feel like I need to help my lungs out a bit. It's just hard to drive through the intersection where my car accident was. There are still bits of my old car on the road, which is kind of unnerving.
I feel like not going to the barn is really making my legs flab up. It's amazing how much smaller they were getting while I was riding regularly. And to add to the problem, I'm convinced that going to the gym is making my legs bulk up, even if it's just a transition phase while my body gets used to the whole gym thing again. Just have to keep telling myself this stage will pass.
I need to get back in the habit of eating breakfast. It keeps me from feeling hungry during the day and really helps to give my metabolism a boost. Why does oatmeal have to be such a pain to clean from the pot though!?
