WHOOOOO

May 09, 2010 18:49

It's amazing how much has come together and change over only a few days.  It was a little while ago, but here is how finals/graduation week went for me.
Monday:  Work that morning, handing in Thesis (WHOOT), cramming for history exam, taking said history exam
Tuesday: Studying for other history exam, taking that one, and then having a beer (or two) with the English faculty.  SO AWESOME!
Wednesday:  Finished German final, submitted it electronically and then PUB CRAWLED so hard...I hurt my knee. :)
Thursday:  Morning Mimosas, started the packing process, manicures, lunch with the girls, some more hanging out and packing up and the T-Room that evening
Friday:  Finding out that I GOT A JOB WITH AMERICORP VISTA at the Department of Justice in Helena.  YAY!!!  Graduation rehearsal (ugh) and stuff, mom and sister arriving in Portland, dinner with them on Mississippi, Clubbing downtown with friends, etc.
Saturday:  Powells and downtown with the family, BBQ and social back at my house, Bacclauriete Mass, Reception, packing packing packing, Indiana Jones
Sunday:  Graduation, fried pickels and mushrooms from Fire on the Mountain, followed by a nice dinner at Southpark Seafood and Grill (its name had a lot to do with my choosing it).
Monday:  Packing up, saying good bye and heading out.

Monday to Monday.  It was an intense week.  Since returning, I've lazed around a lot, then I went to Missoula and lazed around there.  I also saw the Clumsy Lovers (twice) and the Young Dubliners (once) and discovered $3 wells at the Top Hat.  I start my VISTA job in late July, but I have a suspicion that this is going to be a really fun summer!
