Why do robots have all the fun?

It's a rare occasion indeed when I am left with a sense of completion. More often than not optimism is lost on me. My current state of mind is one of contentment. I am looking forward to future endeavours. My brain, which seemed to have taken a leave of abscense during my time in Halifax, is once again spewing forth an abundance of art, music, and prose. Welcome back sir. We missed you.
As I ambled around my neighbourhood this afternoon, freshly purchased digital recordings in one hand, chilled cafienated beverage in the other, it occured to me that I need nothing more than a sunny day and a brisk stroll to brighten my spirits. Although the mundane hubub of this town yawnifies me, I do not deny it's special place in my heart.
The church basement where I earned my first boyscout badge. The now extinct baseball fields of my youth. The frosty glucose-based beverages in poorly lit cnveinience stores. The arborous plants I once scaled in an effort to impress my siblings. The duplexes and triplexes where I offered tricks for treats each All Hallow's Eve. The local gaming shop where I was first introduced to the world of rpgs. So many locations in this town inspire in me nostalgia unmatched. I cannot wait for them to become but faint reminders of my past.
