Envy and Todd's Apartment, Montreal, Tuesday FT
Things were looking up for Envy. With Todd's return from Vegan Academy, she'd pretty much permanently relocated herself to Montreal and the apartment they now shared. Sure, she was still a few credits short of a degree from the U of T, but that didn't somehow seem to matter much now. She had plans for the future and it wasn't anything a degree in political sciences much factored into.
She had a band.
And this time, they were going to go places. They'd discovered a great drummer by the name of Lynette Guycott about a month ago (she had a bionic arm, it was amazing), and recruited her into the fold. They'd had a name for about a week and a half.
The Clash at Demonhead.
Sure, it was kind of nerdy, but in an appealing retro way. They had kickass songs brewing, and big plans, and Envy was promoting them to clubs near and far -- and, well, maybe that was where the poli-sci came into action after all. She knew how to conquer. And she knew how to do that online. Her blog was still small, but it was picking up stray followers here and there. People who mattered to the scene, no less. People looking for something new and who could be used strategically to get a buzz going.
Todd was out, and Lynette hadn't yet shown up to discuss a few style things Envy wanted to go over with her. Perfect time to work on polishing up a new entry.
