well, havent updated this in a while. what has happened in the last few weeks?

the business is taking off well. we'll be incorporating soon, but we keep running into problems finding a name. the last one we were pretty dead set on, PhotoMotion Media, but it turns out that big blue (IBM for those of you not familiar with the techie name) owns a trademark on PhotoMotion, which isn't the same as PhotoMotion Media, or Photo Motion Media, but regardless, if a multi-billion dollar worldwide corporation has any say, it's best to stay out of it. any suggestions are welcome, but at this point, we're still fishing. it needs to be final this month, so that we can incorporate. the business is photography and videography services, and stock photos, video, and sountrack music for sale on the internet (the services are advertised and focused locally).

this past weekend, gibran and some friends came up to tally. in 48 hours, we went to a village inn, watched a few hours of TV, recorded music, the friends went to an adult store because they dont have any in lakeland and i guess it was exciting to them, we went to waffle house, watched people play nintendo, got police escorted out of walmart, stole pint glasses from ruby tuesday's (which i have been using, and i must say, they are very high quality), went to backyard burger, and probably a few other things. very busy, and i was very worn out afterwards.

the thermostat stopped working at the apartment sunday, so for 2 days it was painfully hot. probably 90 degrees at some points. very, very hot. had to take cold showers just to cool off. even though it was in the 90s outside, it was cooler to open the window because the stale air could escape than to just sit in the heat, even with all the fans on high. horrible.

last night i surprised katy at work, then went to books a million where i got 2 business mags, a photography mag, and a videography mag, and a small business book, a keychain calculator (very cool, but i have a feeling its going to break soon), and a books a million subscription card thing. then katy and i, after she got off work, went to sonic. i love that place!

it sure was an interesting weekend. hanging out with people was good, but in other ways than that, i'm glad its over, and can't wait to push it behind me.
