I didn't thoroughly enjoy working for F1. It was a rather mediocre job (Ticketing Inspector), I won't miss it.
Random notes about this job:
- Snobbish VIPs. Their ill-mannered way is fucking embarrassing. I bet their folks didn't teach them to be polite. Fucking snobs.
- The long-standing-hours is a killer. We often took short walks to have a break at the canteen. Or sometimes just peek at the race.
- I saw some small fry local celebrities. Sadly, Michelle Yeoh entered from another gate. :/
- LOTSA FREE 100Plus, Coke and mineral water.
- Day 1 and 2's dinner was crap. Tonight's dinner was good as compared to the previous days.
- Felicia Tan is a super resourceful "aunty". She scooted around our area to find freebies and I will "kope" them too. xD
- Brazilian girl dancers were super hot. The percussion music that went with it was awesome shit.
- Didn't make many friends. I just hang out with my own friends.
- I've never ever rushed for the camera like tonight before. Some of the spectators who left wanted a photo with us and so, we just rushed in-front of the camera like we've never seen one before. I was/am pretty amazed at the energy level of my fellow TIs had.
- One bloody tuna sandwich costs 10 freaking-buckaroo. But I got it for free. Heh. And it tasted rather fine as compare to the tandoori chicken sandwich. Raffles Creamy was mighty superb too.
- Singapore weather is horrible.
- My pay sucks.
That's all I can think of, now.
