[Has noticed that he's much warmer than he had been when he'd first gone to sleep on his bed. It was impossibly difficult for him to properly manage heat in a body this small and attempts to crawl under the covers had ended, often or not, in enough chaos or him to bear it regardless. As he has done since the unconscious discovery of his new warmth, he tries to further press himself into it. Only to realize that it's no longer fur brushing his head and neck but the much rougher feel of cloth. Startled, he opens his eyes, barely keeping the exclamation from leaving his mouth.
Directly at his back, Suzaku sleeps still curled into the same position his canine self had originally taken.]
[Which is, curled protectively around him, of course. Suzaku shifts in his sleep, curling a hand possessively in Lelouch's shirt, until the incongruity of the way that feels starts to wake him up, too.]
[Not waiting or the knight to wake fully, he carefully starts to lift himself onto his side, too distracted to care much that his shirt is still being clutched by the other young man.]
