*cries*

I don't think that Henry is actually telling her to erase the recording - it sounds like something taken from the middle of a sentence. But it would be interesting if they disagreed how to handle it.

I can easily see this going on into season 8. Maybe they'll cover it up for now but it'll be leaked six weeks later.

Bloody LJ ate my comment and now I can't remember half of it. From a personal pov though I would love a disagreement if only from the dramatic potential of seeing Cherry let loose with all the epic emotions and conflict that Taylor would facing in chosing between her political ethics and perserving her family, as Olivia appears to be a daddy's girl.
Plus a differing opinion from Henry means the potential for her to confide in Ethan about the matter.

I hope they do take whatever happens into season 8 especially as we now know that Cherry has signed on. It would be great to see a legitimate links between two seasons that didn't involve some convoluted device such as a brother we never heard of.

Ah, LJ, quit being a bitch.

I agree, I think it would be fascinating, especially given how relieved Henry is to have his family back together. I can see him wanting to go to any lengths to preserve that. But also key to his character is his acceptence and respect that Allison is the President, and even when it came to letting Roger's killer go free, he let her call the shots and supported her. It could go either way and be believable, I think. I want to see Cherry go insane, but a part of me likes the idea of Olivia having to face up to the combined forces of Ethanbenry.

There are so many potential links between seasons 7 and 8. In terms of this storyline, my personal theory is that Olivia's actions will not be made public, but that in six weeks something's going to hit the fan - either Collier releases it, or holds it over her head, or maybe the sleazeball reporter from earlier comes back. But given how many loose ends there are at this point, I'm expecting that Tony and The Group will be a part of season 8, or at least be a critical part of the set up, and I'm still kind of hoping that there's not a cure to the Prion but only a stopgap. It would be cool to see Jack on the verge of death in s8, but I think my biggest reason for liking that theory is that I really want the episodes to open with "I'm Federal Agent Jack Bauer, and this is the last day of my life." Obviously they won't give that away but I'd love the full circle of it.
