24/House/assorted other things things

1. Hey, does anyone have Skype? I want to start using it more. It seemed pretty awesome when the guy used it in You Suck At Photoshop. But none of my friends use it (except for one whose calls I dodge religiously), so it seems kind of pointless staying signed in without anyone to talk to.
2. I am seriously excited for 4 out of the 6 new scripted shows NBC picked up. Like, okay, I hate to watch new shows before I hear good things, but I am seriously considering watching these anyway. Maura Tierney on my TV is excellent at all times, no question. I love the sound of the post-apocalyptic one, just because that is always awesome. And the two comedies sound pretty good. We'll see. The medical dramas sound kind of lame, though. I think people are just trying to replace ER and come up with something edgy, but I don't think that's what people are necessarily looking for right now. They want socially-driven shows like Grey's Anatomy or shows with flawed personalities, like House.
3. I love Wilson. I love House. I love Cuddy. I can't even decide between them. I think the other characters are interesting and everything, but House's team is a little simpler than those three, and I love the crazy personalities (that, or they're the only ones who are old enough for me. I can be quite predictable at times). The vicodin-addicted asshole, the uptight bitch, the guy who seems so well-adjusted that something must be going on there. It's a perfect combination of ridiculousness, and it makes the show incredibly exciting for me.
   
   This episode was glorious for the part of me that loves the relationship between House and Wilson, and more glorious for the (albeit smaller) part of me that loves House/Cuddy. Above all I love the times when House is weak and he has to depend on either of them in any way. So this was a pretty magical night. I don't really have anything to say except that I loved it. I didn't particularly care about the POTW storyline, but I rarely do.
   
   Also, I loved the idea that Wilson and Cuddy both have something that nobody else does, like Cuddy is the only one who knows House well enough that he can't get anything past her. I love that 20 years ago, she had a crush on him, because she owns his ass now (at work and with this whole vicodin thing). I love a good role reversal. And then Wilson is the one he asks to supervise him and discuss his theories about what's going on, which sort of puts him in a unique position too.

   5. Chloe, you're so fucking smart. I love you. Can you be my IT person? I know that sounds like a euphemism, but seriously, I want her to set up stuff on my computer and be at my beck and call 24 hours a day (heh). I know I'm enough of a nerd on my own that I don't really need her, but I won't let that get in the way of my dream.

   7. God, I ship them. I miss Ethan, but I love themmmmm.

   9. It would be awesome if Jon Voight did something crazy right now.
   10. lmfao wait, is his name Mr. Tippin, or did I totally mishear that? Mr. Tippid? Whatever. I like Tippin. For obvious reasons. Is he being sent to Camp Harris?
   11. WHAT THE FUCK, MAN. OLIVIA DIDN'T SEND THE MONEY. Okay, obviously something had to happen with him, but stilllll. What is the meaning of this?

   14. Pshh, she doens't. But she looks pretty fucking calm.
   15. Oh shit, but she's gonna be investigated. FRAMED, EVEN. Even if she's just investigated, that'll totally suck, because they'll think she did it, and since she's such a crazy bitch, Allison won't believe her, and that will be INTENSE EMOTION. That, or Allison will believe her and have no control over it. I can't decide which is better. I like the second one because it's too fake to make me really sad. Just thinking about the first one a minute ago, I got super miserable, and I am not cool with that.
   16. Who thinks that meeting at the park will go well for her? Because I don't.

   18. Next week's promo: Oh shit, I love train attacks. Actually, I hate them. They're boring. But I'm excited anyway.
5. I'm almost done with school for the semester. All I have left is two finals and one take-home final. And then I'm doing all that shit I planned on. Fic, sleep deprivation, working on my pilot, all that good stuff. I am so excited. I actually already changed my layout, but it doesn't have a header or anything so I figured it wasn't worth calling too much attention to.
