Sometimes I have days where I try to be perfect and I think I have to put an end to all my life's problems and indulge my every ambition. I always end up making myself feel worse.
I've lost sight of the wonderfully realistic, cynical perspective that makes me me. Life sucks a lot of the time. That's why I chose a career where I get to make fun of it. When I started thinking about all the ways I could make life not suck, I forgot that the best thing I can do to make that happen is to stay grounded in reality.
This is why I would probably be better off in a Communist society.
