Today was the first snow!
It is also the premiere of the third Librarian movie, which for all those not in the know (a.k.a. normal people) is the most recent one in this set of ridiculous TV movies where Noah Wyle plays a librarian who has to embark on Indiana Jones-esque missions and rescue some sword that equals the meaning of life, or something to that effect. And Jane Curtin is in them.
I'm pretty sure those are Jane's real glasses, if my memory is not failing me at this moment. They're kind of huge because she's so old. But her glasses in the second movie were very Sarah Palin (probably hers too, lmao) so I definitely prefer it this way.
So I've decided to ignore the lameness of them in favor of this awesome fact (plus, her character is apparently a huge bitch, so why would I not watch it?) Also, some website published
an interview with her in honor of the movie's release, and this just in: Jane is no longer refusing to watch SNL in that she watched at least a couple of clips from the election. HELLZ YEAH.
iF: Do you find it amazing that SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE is just a relevant today as it was the day it aired when it comes to political comedy?
CURTIN: They did a fabulous job with the election. I caught a lot of Tina's stuff and she was just wonderful. Let’s hope they can keep going once the politics cools down.
Not only does she seem to give a shit about the future of SNL, but she called Tina Fey "Tina" and she called her wonderful and also used the word "fabulous" which I love because I've really been enjoying that word recently. ILY JANE.
iF: Considering THE LIBRARIAN is an action franchise, do you ever feel jealous that you don't get to go out into the field more often and kick some major butt?
CURTIN: I have never wanted to kick butt.
That's my girl!
Okay, so, it's gonna be an awesome time and I'm pretty fucking excited. But right now I have to go write my paper on the origins of Christianity and do a quiz for psych, so...I'm gonna go do that.
