I've been watching all kinds of BSG over the last couple of days. Usually when my dad is home, so we mostly just end up making jokes about Adama eating spaghetti and laughing whenever Tigh says anything. It's pretty awesome. Yeah, my dad has this obsession with Adama eating spaghetti because of how hilariously he ate it at the end of the mini...I forget who it was, but Roslin or Lee or someone walked in and there was like this mass of spaghetti just hanging out of his mouth, so whenever my dad sees Edward James Olmos he mentions spaghetti. And whenever we have spaghetti he mentions Adama. So I've decided it's in my best interest to go with it. The depth of Adama's existence is spaghetti, and nothing else.
I really want to watch Losing Chase, which I find kind of weird and unnecessary. I just don't really think it's a very good movie. It's really predictable and kind of boring, and the plot is sort of flawed. But the acting is wonderful, and the relationship it explores is totally intriguing to me. I don't know, I love the idea of psychological dependence between two people. Also the idea of Helen Mirren and Kyra Sedgwick making out on a beach is always enjoyable for me. Especially when it relates to said psychological things and Helen Mirren basically just hallucinates her drowning and has this total breakdown, thus leading to the completely awesome kiss (intense face-holding included). So when I say I love the idea of psychological dependence between two people...yeah, pretty much the hottest ever. I think I might watch this during my break on Friday and make youtube movie-watching a weekly thing. Last week I watched Clue, and it was completely awesome and necessary.
I am once again pimping out tumblr because it is the best thing everrrr. Here is a tres amusing blog I've been following on there, and here is my tumblelog. I kind of just use it to post short things, pictures, videos, amusing quotes and articles, because that's basically what it's geared towards. So I guess it's kind of pulling me away from LJ in that I'm not so much about randomly sharing small things, but I didn't really do that before, so it's all good. I should still post more, though.
