Deep Impact/Alias/life
Okay, seriously, I need flist recs. I come home and there are like 3 entries since the night before. Not counting the Chlack community, which...I don't even know why I added that. But whatever. Anyone have any good recs? A few people suggested some good ones before so I'm gonna have to do something about that, but it would be awesome to have more.
I totally just watched Deep Impact with my dad. Worst idea ever. Because, god, that movie sucks. At least The Day After Tomorrow makes up for the ridiculous plot with amazing special effects and Sela Ward. Then there's Aftershock: Earthquake In NY, which is totally justified by Sharon Lawrence rock climbing in a pathetically plot-related way (and Jennifer Garner hooking up with a foreign cab driver and becoming a ballerina. Standard earthquake behavior). But yeah, I really can't stand Deep Impact. I watch it, cry a little bit, but in the end I feel no satisfaction whatsoever. There must be some reason I keep watching it, but whatever. The world will never know.
I now realize that the happenings of the last month in my life are somewhat unclear as a result of, you know, me not posting at all. My week and a half off of school was mostly spent watching Alias and discussing Jack/Irina awesomeness with illusory_thrill. I read the fluffiest fic ever, and it was amazing. I mean, it ended up being all conflict and hardcore, but there's this amazing part where Jack wants to take Syd to the zoo so he can get a slush-o (which is only a thing in Japan, so I don't even believe that), but Syd hates the zoo, so Irina totally chastises him for it. I basically love fluff. I mean, that's like my life. I avoid all depressing things and just sit in my room watching Friends over and over again, and I love it. Aside from my nonstop bitchy thoughts about people, my life is dedicated to the pursuit of happy times. Fluff is so me.
I should also add that I love Sark right now (as well as, you know, Vaughn and Will). Nadia annoys me, even more than Dixon, and Sloane basically just gets more and more amazing. *has his babies* But more on that later.
