Summer/meme
You know, I never really contemplated my summer as a whole. It was actually very awesome. So I'm listing the things that pwned about my summer.
1. I got way more into a show I've always liked. (Alias! <3)
2. I discovered a few awesome actresses and went back to an older one from a year ago (who is clearly made of pwnage and half of one of my favorite ships EVER).
3. I memorized the Barry White dance from Ally McBeal. Clearly the greatest accomplishment ever.
4. I saw Allison Janney on a stage like 5 feet in front of me, and it was fairly life-owning. I'm not really enthusiastic about making a post on the subject, but she was fantastic.
5. illusory_thrill came over for that week in June. Total Sally marathon. Made of so much awesome. It just felt totally perfect and right, like I've always wanted a RL friend who I could connect to on the fandom thing, and it was this completely new experience.
6. I changed my intended major and it feels so right and totally comfortable and I'm like, I finally have a realistic idea of where I want my life to go.
PS, this is totally unrelated, but...last night this customer was like, talking to me, and she told me she was gonna bring in her son so I could talk to him because he's apparently lazy and a life failure and stays holed up at home 24/7. Apparently she thought I could inspire him or something. It was like the most awkward conversation of my life. And she was like, so interfering. I know it sucks to have a kid who wants to stay at home and avoid people all day (I'll never understand how my parents put up with it from me for so many years), but dude. Don't try to motivate a 16-year-old guy. Force him to get a job and spend time around people like my mom did with me, or stfu. She bought him a stress ball thing and she's like "you can put your constant anger here" or something and I'm like...wow. Way to mention that in front of other people. So that was pretty random.
