What a crazy week this has been! Geeze.
Break was great, but as usual it just flew by! I got to spend time with all the people I love so it was really nice. Kristy, Erik, Cole and I went to Baja Fresh over break and I have to say that it really isn't anything special..I think we all agreed. Kristy spent the night with me getting my new cell phone and all that jazz. We went to visit ms.ally mack after her oral surgery, too.
I already have my dress for cole's prom...I got that awhile ago...I'm just not 100% sure it's the one I'm gonna keep yet. Afterall, the very first dress I tried on for my prom, ended up being my prom dress. This dress is the very first one I tried on, too. That's not gonna make me buy it though, but it's just something interesting I guess. One size is to small, but the next size up is a little big, so maybe I'll just get it altered, because I feel amazing in that dress. It's very elegant and it looks just like the dress kate hudson wore in "How to lose a guy in 10 days", except mine is a green'ish blue.
Cominghome was so much fun. It felt really weird though. Homecoming was fine, and I had lots of fun, but I didn't feel so much like I wasn't a student at chs anymore. This time, I felt it. I didn't recognize HALF the kids there..because they were freshman and sophomores. It felt weird, but thankfully I knew almost everyone in our group and had loads of fun with them! I had Cole take me home kinda early after the dance, and big boys...I was just feeling tired! I also went to the PFS on Tuesday with Cole's Mom and Aunt..Cole looked so good and I can't wait for prom!
Back at school now I have been soo busy with classes now. Normally I am done everyday around 4. Well...this week I swear I was in clases, or at the library till after 6. Then I would go to the REC on M,W,F and then eat dinner. Before I knew it- it was almost 8:00. Once Wednesdays Chemistry Lab is over with, a weight will be off my shoulders and I will have a little relaxing time. I have tests on monday and tuesday, and my huge chem project where the elemntary kids come in on wednesday.
So this math buisness...I took the test today and guess what...I passed! Here's the deal, if you don't know it: I need to get into MATH 108, and in order to do that, I needed to take a placement test. I took it a year ago when I was a senior and still in a math class at churchill. I got 65 pts. (It's not out of 100). I've been studying my ass off, but still felt iffy about stuff, but knew I needed to take this test and get it over with today. I got 78 pts, but needed 83 to get in. The lady I had been talking to before, sent me to a few other people and they okay'd the score since I went up so many points, and I'm not even in math class right now. I told them how I DIDN'T even study the first time I took it..I didn't know I was supposed to..I thought that was the point of a placement test-to place you into a class based on your knowledge. It was more of a "Study as hard as you can so you don't go to 98A or 98B MATH classes test". So I passed. I get to take it in the fall thank god. Or I could pick it up at scraft this spring, but I believe I'd have to take ANOTHER placement test, and quite frankly..I'm not dealing with that again!
I'm staying down here this weekend and cole is coming to visit me tomorrow and spend the night!
