Superbowl weekend was great! Friday I came home a little later than normal because I was getting all my housing stuff figured out for next year!!! Later that night though-Cole,Erik and I went downtown and did a bunch of fun things. On the way down though we stopped at a gas station for snacks and they had a drive-thru starbucks! I've never seen one before, and neither did butka, so we took a bunch of pictures while cole was getting some food! Detroit really looked great and I had a lot of fun just walking around, goin to the RenCen and the NFL Experience!! Butka and I got matching shirts! Ally was supposed to meet us there, but we had already waited outside for her for so long, that we went in and then an hour later she called to say she was there, so it obviously didn't work out.
Saturday everyone went down there, but I decided I didn't have 10 hours to put aside for that and Cole and I just stayed in Livonia and went to see "When A Stranger Calls". I'm not sure what to say about it. Cole hated it, but I thought it was a good movie. I would never say it was a great movie, and I wouldn't really recomend wasting $7(or however much they are!) on that. It's worth seeing if you rent it though, I guess! ;/ We went back to his house and had Anipasta Salad and Pizza which was just soo good. I left around 10'ish so we could both do some other stuff and get a good amount of sleep!
Superbowl Sunday was great. I went to butkas and got to see the keysers and Kyle which was nice because I haven't seen jo in awhile. I really do wish we were still close with her....but what can we do?? You know? We have tried so many times and I think she knows we aren't gonna bite her head off and we really haven't changed that much, so I don't know what is keeping her from doing something with us. I understand though I guess. The commercials were great and I couldn't have cared less who won the game!
I thought I lost my calculator yesterday and was flipping out!! That thing costs $100, so I had a reason to worry. Ally and I tore apart the room last night and thought that the guy who came in our room to fix the light might have took it. Who really knew? Anyways, my chem teacher sent me an email asking if I left my calculator in the room. I think it's funny he sent it just to me(since it said "hey julie..did you leave your TI calc in the chem room?? Let me know...I have it. -Ron) and not the whole class. I guess he knew it was mine??? :)
I love this song by the way! Also, this semester is 1/3 done, and then I'm home for four months!! :)
I'm coming home tomorow and I have a derma appt. for my eye again and then I'm going to the wedding with cole!! We've been to soo many weddings together and I love them! Saturday is my cousin steve's confirmation and then we're going to PF Changs with them, and probably back to their house for awhile. I'm very excited!
