So it's been awhile for me... I'm not really sure how I feel about my classes.
*PSYCHOLOGY- I think I understand it all...actually, I know I understand A LOT of it, because I could explain almost anything from it to you, it's just that the tests kick me in the ass everytime. They are so dang hard. My teacher basically said it's all applying your knowledge and it's not like straight up definitions or anything like that. You have to go through a process of elimintating all these answers to come up with one of the "Two right answers". Whatever. Our class average for the first test was an E.
*MUSIC- I have like 105% in that class and the average in there is an 81%. I feel pretty good about that, but that's all thanks to being a musician. My music lab isn't that easy though, I've never played piano or recorder and I'm definitley doing a lot of that!
*PHYSICS- This is the class that I don't get very often, but somehow end up having the 7th highest grade out of 60 people. Don't ask how that worked out. I guess I think I don't know things, but maybe I really do? Who knows.
*WORLD REGIONS- Not really an easy class, but not too hard either. I'm pretty close with the teacher and she's only 26 years old and very nice and just down to earth. I've been in during her office hour a few times to ask questions and such, so that probably can't hurt my grade!
On saturday, I spent the whole day doing marching band stuff. There was the Bands Of America Competition at the Silverdome and we were the guest performers. That was awesome. I never really got to see the competitive high school marching bands that much, and let me tell you, they were amazing. So many of them used props and put huge tarps down on the floors and sounded amazing! Then again, they get their shows in April, have hired people teaching them and practice all summer, and football season long. We just got our show a week and a half ago and played it very well and memorized on saturday.
YESTERDAY was Me and Cole's ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY! He actually came Saturday night around 10 and just watched t.v. in the room till I got back around 1'ish from the competition! :) We went to eat a small lunch at Noodles and then had some ice cream at Coldstone, then went to Ann Arbor and had some brie, bread and strawberries(10 dollars!) at a french restaurant, and then went to this greek place later on. We got the full cultural experience with all the places we ate at. We both felt kinda bad that we didn't go to a fancy restaurant, but it's not that important to us, and we weren't dresed appropriate. We're gonna go to one there around New Years though, because thats when we first said I love you. I made cole a scrapbook, plus some other things I didn't give to him yet that are at home! oops! I'll give them to him soon and he got me a pretty ring. No, it's not a promise ring or anything like that, it's just a ring he wanted to get me..like an "I love you" ring.
There it is, and I really like it. It's 14K White gold and I don't remember how many K's the diamond is. I think it's perfect because it doesn't look like an engagement ring or anything really serious like that!
I actually went to Coles Homecoming last weekend, too. Here's a story..alison took my house keys off my eastern ring and then we booked it back to Putnam after practice, got some things together and alisons dad drove us home. When we were pulling on my street, I realized that my key ring didn't have my house key. Ally dropped me off at Kristys, I threw some clothes on there, went to the game for a little while and then Kristy and I went out to dinner. We drank our coffee and then rushed off to Carmens house because shes the only person with a Key. Kristy stayed at my house pretty late and we messed around with my hair, and then cole came and spent the night. Saturday my sister and Kristy worked on my hair, we ate at Papa Vinos and went to Applebees after the dance. I had so much fun and got to meet a lot of people there at dinner!
