I haven't updated in like three weeks!
I've been way too busy with school stuff.
I'll just say that Chicago was awesome this year, but still nothing can compare to the trip to Orlando last year! Everyone already knows everything that happened, but I'm just glad I got to talk to some people that I normally don't get the chance to talk to.
Thursdays concert was great. I almost started crying in the beginning of "Hometown", just because I looked up at the slideshow a few times as I was playing at my last concert, and it all kinda hit me. I decided to not look at the slideshow anymore after that, so I could actually finish playing the piece! Schostacovich(sp?) was pretty good...a lot of people told me they liked that one. I had thought about the whole "The John Philip Sousa Band Award" before and realized who the people could be that would win it this year, but I didn't think I had a better chance than anyone else. I'm glad I won it though! So many people were saying congratulations to me, and even people that I didn't know, or people that aren't in band. Oh well, it's nice to see non-band people appreciating(or just being nice...haha) things like this. Ally and I did our usual after the concert and then I stayed up till 12 working on my powerpoint.I guess I didn't even need to work on it because Mrs. Dotson didn't have us even do ours on Friday. It was our final exam presentation and she comes in and tells us we can start them on monday if we want...god. I stayed up really late finishing that bitch.
Friday we all got to meet Matt. He's coles friend, and since it was a week before prom and kristy didn't have a date, we needed to find her one! He's a really nice guy and I'm happy that Kristy has someone to go with. I babysat in between there for about 2 1/2 hours and then went back to hanging out with everybody and we went to Erik's for awhile. Cole came over for a little while after that.
Today I woke up around 9 and was helping my mom with the gardening for about SEVEN hours. It was soo warm outside and I didn't eat breakfast and only had two water bottles and a bananna the whole time. I felt like I was going to pass out a few times, here and there...probably because I didn't eat/drink enough. I've never felt like that before. Anyways, I really like flowers...haha. My mom told me she thinks I should be some kind of decorator because I always have these really good cute ideas when it comes to doing things with houses, whether it be inside or out..and I do. I just want to be a teacher though...
