(no subject)
Oi. It's been a day. I opened this morning at work, and it was sooo dead, it was ridiculous. And to top it off, there were FIVE of us in. Totally unnecessary. Blah. Ah well. So I finally escaped from there, and headed home.
Only to find mom practically in tears because she got a ticket on the way home from Naomi's soccar tournament. Apparently the van is past it's due date for safety inspection. So. Yeah. This means not only can I not help Tina and Simon with the couch tomorrow (The van is now off limits to me - I'm REALLY sorry guys), I also have no way to and from work this week until they get it in. Which SUCKS. Wheee for cabs. Or not.
Like I said, it's been a day.
And tomorrow I'm supposed to be going to Dad's during the day to go down to the lake for swimming / boating. God knows how that's going to work yet. Can we not just have a stretch where BOTH vehicles are working? Two or three weeks ago it was the car's breaks. A week ago it was us blowing and killing the tire on the van (not to mention the car, although an automatic, is not shifting as it should), and this week it's trouble with the van again. The crappy thing is, we NEED a van. There are too many of us to fit into a car now. *curses and mutters unrepeatable things*
