This is what I can remember of my favorite movies. Ones that I watch over and over again just because its like going on your favorite ride at Disney. I just can't get enough. This is also able to change at any time and they're not in any particular order.
10 Things I Hate About You - this is the one that made me fall in love with Heath Ledger. I'll never get over his singing in the stands and also the song 'The Weakness in Me' is on my Writing Sad Scenes playlist.
Rebecca - Inspired me to write the Spuffy fanfic Sanctuary. Love, love, adore this movie and book. The suspense, the gothicness and the final scene is OMG!!!
Sister Act 1 and 2 - Just plain funny and I love the choir scenes!!
A Knight's Tale - Another one that fueled my love for Heath. Also inspired the Spuffy fanfic A Promise to A Lady. Random Fact - Giles stepson and Dawn's husband (Did I ever get them married?) in the Baby Series is based on Heath?
Stigmata - It's one of those movies that sparks my religious interest. It made me do more research in Jesus and the gospels left out of the Bible. Yeah, I believe and one of these days I'm writing a novel based on Jesus, and the church. What he probably really meant and the church's interpretation to manipulate people into doing what they want. (All churches. Not just Catholicism)
Jesus Christ Superstar - Made me love Jesus and this makes me weep every time. Also turned Mary Magdalene into my all time heroine. When I saw this in the movie theater in the 70s I remember two elderly women crying, too. It moved me because it wasn't meant for their generation, but yet the depiction of Christ's last days reached all ages. And yay, I saw Ted Neely do this role live. Yes, my life was complete.
An Enchanted Cottage - Still gives my romantic heart hope that love can see beyond the physical person.
The Ghost and Mrs. Muir - Do I really need to explain this one? Yeah, just beautiful. Is that why I'm haunted by a man and still haven't found one in this life?
The Seventh Sign - How strong is your love for Christ, your child and the world? Would you die?
Cinderella (Disney version) - I love the mice!!! Just note that basically I love the classic Disney movies: Sleeping Beauty, Lady and the Tramp, Mary Poppins, Bedknobs and Broomsticks...and lots more. They kept me alive as a child. Literally.
The Village - Only because the ending made me sit up and forget the rest of the movie.
The Craft - Yeah, power in the wrong hands does corrupt.
