::Sitting in the lounge, kicking his feet back and forth and looking sadly out the window, Pepinot had the television turned all the way down. He'd wanted to go back to his room, but surprisingly, the door to B3 was blocked by another door, and he couldn't get it open no matter how hard he'd tried

[Ougi hadn't expected to see such a small kid on the train. He couldn't help but wonder why he would be needed for a greater purpose. Deciding to talk with Pepinot, he bends down to his level.]

Hey. What is it you're making?

::looks up, giving a small smile::

A boat. It's supposed to sail, if I can make it right. ::shows Ougi his paper creation::

It looks good so far. Do you like origami?

[Seeing this makes him feel a bit nostalgic, but also makes him wish he was back in Japan.]

..What's origami?

It's paper folding. A lot of people like to make things out of it back in Japan, like that boat.

::looks down at the boat in his hands, before looking back to Ougi and passing him a second piece of paper::

Could you show me?

[A bit surprised by the request]
Hmm... it isn't really something I've done in a while.

[He takes it, and starts trying to make something.]

...What are you making?

Uh... that's a good question. I was trying to make a bird.

[He sighs, undoing his last fold and trying a different approach]

Sorry if I'm not much help. I'm not very good at much of anything.

...It's all right. I'm not, either.

::still, is watching Ougi's paper-folding curiously:: It looks...sort of like a bird?

[He laughs, while continuing to play with the piece of paper]

So you're obviously not from Japan. Where did you come from?

A boy's school, in France. Not many people here've heard of it, though.

Ah. I used to be a teacher, but I can't say I know about any schools in France.

It doesn't have many students.
