...Post-Surgery...
I had nothing to worry about. That surgery was a piece of cake. I haven't had any pain all day, and have been able to eat soft foods just fine. I haven't even taken any of the percocetes they gave me...just a few Advil. I am watching The Wedding Singer because I have to hold frozen peas on my face, disabling me from playing Xbox like I really want to do. The doctor told me that I would experience the most pain today, and that tomorrow would just bring more swelling. So if the occasional pain from opening my mouth is the most pain I'm going to experience, I'm going to chalk this up as being extremely lucky.
