Christmas Meme
My sister sent this to me in email. I decided to blog it instead of email it back!
1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate? Hot Chocolate all the day
2 . Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree? wrap
3. Colored lights on tree/house or white? Colored only!
4. Do you hang mistletoe? yes - we have a bronzed mistletoe that we hang every year.
5. When do you put your decorations up? Usually at the beginning of December - we're doing it tomorrow.
6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)? I just like to eat. And since I can't include dessert, then phooey.
7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child: Christmases with Nana.
8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? What do you mean?
9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? I'll open gifts whenever. oneandonlymatt and I always open our presents to each other on Yule (Winter Solstice, around the 21st) because it is before we leave for Michigan. Then we open presents with his family on Christmas Day and my family on the 26th.
10. How do you decorate your Christmas Tree? well...it looks like christmas threw up on it. We have always been on a quest of the ugliest ornaments...on purpose.
11. Snow - love it or hate it? like it. I moved away from it so I like to see it AT christmas, but I can do without it most of the time.
12. Can you ice skate? no
13. Do you remember your favorite gift as a child? oh goodness, I don't remember. I loved Breyer Horses and I'm sure I got plenty.
14. What's the most exciting thing about the Holidays for you? presents!
15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert? cream cheese wreath cookies
16.What is your favorite holiday tradition? I'm starting a new one this year of ornaments for the Olympic Gods on a small tree just dedicated to that.
17. What tops your tree? The Electric Sex.
18. Which do you prefer giving or Receiving? both, actually
19. What is your favorite Christmas music? I like the Very Special Christmas CDs. I am also a sucker for O Holy Night by Josh Groban and some old recording of Do You Hear What I Hear, but I don't know who sings it.
20. Candy Canes? I like the Hersey's Chocolate Mint ones best.
