So, I don't know that I will get to 50 by the end of the year, but I still wanted to keep the list going.
15. American Vampire by JR Rain
The one problem with reading $1 ebooks that are entertaining but not necessarily *good* is that they don't stick with you. I honestly don't remember much about this book. Except for one thing. What is with ALL of the vampire novels having Elvis as a character?
16. Incredible by Jason Letts
This is the third book in a trilogy. Here is how they get you with the ebooks. The first one is $1 and the rest in the series are between $3 and $5. Honestly, I am not even sure this was worth the extra couple of bucks, but I bought it and I read it.
17. To Kill A Warlock by HP Mallory
Same old story - vampires, fairies, etc. Not a bad example of the genre but not amazing. Worth a buck, I suppose. All I am really looking for with these books is something quick to read where I can buzz through a couple chapters at night before going to bed and turn off my brain. They serve their purpose.
18. Rampant by Diana Peterfreund
19. Ascendant by Diana Peterfreund
But then, I upped my game! A
dancingwriter recommended this book because she knows I heart unicorns. And it was AMAZING. I am surprised these books aren't more popular. They are a billion times better than Twilight, definitely on par with, say, The Hunger Games. I really liked it. It is both a harkening back to medieval and older Unicorn Lore (and you can tell she *really* did her homework) and a great modern Young Adult story. It was perfect in every way. Except for one thing...there aren't more. I want a third book. I want to know what else happens. I want more!!!
