So I just wanted to do a quick drive by post about Pagan Pride Day. It was just this past Sunday, October 7th. The
se_hellenes crew decided to have an information booth. We got there early and set up our canopy and tables with all of our literature set up. We had flyers for SE Hellenes, for Artemis Mounykhia (the local ritual group) as well as Hellenion and several issues of Neokoroi's He Epistole newsletter. I must say, our info both was a smashing success! All kinds of people came buy and took info. Many signed up for our mailing lists.
We also saw a ton of friends. I won't go into the list her because I'd be spending all afternoon typing lj tags, but if I saw you I must say it was an absolute pleasure! Thank you so much for stopping by and talking with us!
I did see
dancingwriter dance at the festival. I got some video too. I will share that eventually.
Also, have a look at
radiantbaby's post about the "Baby Hellene" for the story of the awesome little girl and her mom that were just passing through the park and stopped for some information.
I was overwhelmingly pleased at the interest in our little Greek corner of Pagandom.
Oh, and I must mention that
kingofthewho thought that we would make an excellent motorcycle club - the Hellions on Wheels. We ride around in circles breaking plates! We light cheese on fire with Wild Abandon! Opa!
