Weird Day...
Had to get up early, so much so that it was still dark. Beloved laptop decides to commit Laptop Hari Kari overnight. Am so obsessive that in case beloved laptop is unsalvagable, I purchased tiny laptop replacement. Tiny laptop replacement is adorable and can get on the internet (but warning: tiny keyboard is effed up). Huzzah. Worried about beloved laptop, twirled hair (because I am obsessive, pay attention). Professional life exploded in a firey ball of blistering uncertainty, through no fault of mine. Turns out that place does in fact, not revolve around me. Who knew? Happy new year indeed. David Cook got a dog (Shut up! This means something to me. What part of "obsessive" is confusing you?). But his January sales number look to blow. Less exciting. Everyone else's blow as well, to varying degrees. Speaking of blowing, best friend gave two weeks' notice at our mutual job (this before the blistering uncertainty). Good for her. Less good for me. But enough selfishness.
And I'd be kinda remiss if I didn't point out that its an anniversary of sorts for me. It was one year ago today, January 5, that the reality of my own personal mistakes crystallized. It's crazy how things can change in an instant. .
