birds in grocery stores

i went to the ocean a couple different times in a couple different cities this past week. it said a lot of weird but sage-like things. i went to the island and climbed hills and rocks with my brother. i walked around this country's second largest city, through the rich parts and the heroin and crack paved neighborhoods and saw men trying to get their shoes out of a tree with a 20 foot pole, i saw nice places and good people i know. i met some good people to. i borrowed a 3 speed bike that was broken in three places and used a elastic band to fix it a bit but had to walk in up and down the Main Street hill at 1am when we couldn't decide where to go.
computers are really not great things. i look forward to days when i will chop wood instead.

this past weekend the man for which this livejournal was named passed away. while not completely unexpected it still saddens me quite a bit. my original plan of having a don knotts themed livejournal was conceived out of respect and admiration for the man. peace out mr. knotts.
