Giles sighs from the front seat of the cab, taking a moment to polish his glasses. A quick stop at the hotel was all it took to check in and drop off their luggage, and now they're heading to Wolfram & Hart's offices. Giles isn't expecting this to go easily, however, which is why he's holding a book tightly in his lap, as well as a few more surprises in his jacket. The others are in the back seat of the cab. Giles has not spoken a word since they got into the cab, concentrating as he is on potential problems.

Sitting in the front as he is, he's the first to see it.

"Stop the car!" he orders the driver. Down a side street, he watches as several vampires pull five victims into an alley, the victims screaming as they go.
