A Plot A/B Bunny!
Ok. This plot bunny may be complicated. I have a couple of fics I'm working on right now plus two novels that I hope to publish one in a year and the other someday so I really cannot add something else to my plate.
So would some one please write this for me? Thanks,
Buffy/Angel romance/fluff.
Cannon up til Darla comes in pregnant with Connor/Conner. (How did Joss spell that kid's name anyway?! I've seen it both ways! LOL) Darla is just a vessel for the baby to be born. He was conceived on The Day that was erased. When the day was swallowed, they could not erase what was created. But now it needed to be a supernatural way to be born. Buffy was with Riley and human/slayer was not supernatural. But vampire/vampire was. So when Angel slept with Darla, The Powers used that as the catalyst for the baby to be born. Somehow Angel's soul has to be bound before the baby is born.
When Buffy was in Heaven, she saw That Day and saw what was created. She also saw that the child would be born. She doesn't know when and she didn't get to see the child because he was already in Darla's womb. She was just told or just knew that he would be born. When Darla comes to Angel to tell him he's going to be a father, Buffy somehow knows. (Maybe in the same way that she just knows that Angel needs her there, she knows his soul is now bound. She could be told this in a Slayer Dream, but you can use some other way of her finding out. His soul hasn't been bound all long, just that because of this event the Powers are binding his soul so that he doesn't loose it when the baby is born. And so that B/A can be together because every child needs a mother and father if at all possible.) She goes to LA (either alone or with the gang). Either way, when she sees Darla pregnant, she tells the AI Team that she knows what's going on. All she tells them is that the baby is human and is supposed to be born. She acts as if it doesn't bother her, but when she is alone, she falls apart. Angel hears her crying and goes to her. She tells him that she feels as though the Powers stole her baby and put it in one of her worst enemies/competition for Angel's love. Angel seems confused and she explains what she learned in Heaven. When they met, Buffy told him that she remembered That Day. But she didn't tell him about the baby.
You know how Darla and Angel came to a kind of reconciliation right before the baby was born? Maybe Buffy and Darla come to some sort of understanding/truce. Darla's not all evil when she's pregnant kinda thing -- like the baby's soul is changing her like it did in the show. Does Darla know that Buffy is the real mother? That's up to you, the writer.
After Darla stakes herself so that the baby can be born, Holtz is there, (Buffy hasn't met him yet, but Angel knows he's there.) Buffy is the one who picks the baby up off of the ground as Angel puts his duster around the baby. Holtz sees Buffy and Angel in a kiss. He is unaware that she is the Slayer and thinks that she is deceived. (This is important)
Somehow, Hank Summers stumbles into Angel Investigation. He needs the AI Team's help with something. When he is escorted into Angel's office, he sees his daughter *nursing* a baby and he had no idea that she was even pregnant or involved with anyone! How does he react? Do Buffy and her father repair their relationship or at least give it a shot? You decide, you're the writer.
After the AI Team solves Hank's demon problem (Again it's up to you what kind of demon. And I would like for him to find out that Buffy is the Slayer through this.) Again, after the AI Team solves Hank's demon problem, Holtz finds Buffy walking alone at night. L.A. has changed since the last time she was there. New buildings and old buildings torn down, etc. She's lost. Holtz offers to help her and walks to her to the place she was looking for. (Could be a store, or maybe she is going to meet an old friend somewhere or maybe she is meeting her father some where.) Anyway, Holtz mentions that he has seen her around and that her boyfriend is dangerous and will end up killing her. She asks him how he knows who her boyfriend is. He tells her that Angelus killed his family. He goes into some other evil deeds of Angelus. Buffy counters with "He has a soul now. And he won't loose it again." Holtz maintains that Angelus is lying to her and he will turn evil and kill her. She asks him who he really is, and he responds that he is a Vampire Hunter who traveled through time to kill the monster that slaughtered his family and turned his little girl. Buffy warns him to stay away from Angel and her family. She's the slayer and she will protect her family even from humans. Holtz is stunned. But is still convienced that she has been deceived. He doesn't blame her, he blames Angelus. He kidnaps the baby. Buffy calls in Willow and Tara, and when Holtz is standing there at the portal and jumps in, Willow and Tara save the baby from going with him. They use their magic to levitate him and Buffy and Angel rush to him. The witches also protect the baby from W&H. Buffy and Angel get to raise the baby themselves.
OR does Buffy convince Holtz that Angel is good now? And he goes off into the sunset?
