so this boring desk job has turned out to be rather eventful. there seems to be a new camp every week, so we have all kinds of new people moving in (a large portion from out of the country). i was trying to get some studying done, but that's not very productive when there are people yapping about how long they've been playing jazz and what mouthpiece they bought last month, how jazz scales are all different, and other stuff i don't really understand. and then of course there are people checking in who don't realize that the door is locked. quite humorous...
