I recieved a request for an update so...
Well I just got home today. This was an interesting day. I got stuck in an elevator for 30 minutes. It was pretty messed up. The annoying thing is that my flow cell setup is working fine. Maybe I should back things up because this could be confusing.
I'm working at the Canadian Centre for Inland Water, more specifically, I'm working for the Aquatic Ecosystems Management and Research Branch of the National Water Research Institute.
If that was too much, I'm studying the ability for indegenous psychrotrophic bacteria in the biodegradation of hydrocarbon contamination, with a scope of diesel and petroleum fuels and BTEX (Benzene, Toluene, Ethyl Benzenes, Xylenes). We're studying this under aerobic and anerobic conditions.
Right now I'm living in Oakville which makes for a 12 mile bike ride to work. it takes me fourty minutes but I enjoy it. MAybe I'll start losing some weight. Actually I've already started. I've gone from 195 in april to 190. Because you know I must keep a trim figure. I need to find some winter bike riding gloves.
Last weekend I went to see Martin Tielli and ended up spending three days with the Dr. That was some good times. Went to a crazy party. I got to wear a wig (and Miles' shirt). We ended up going for 4am breakfast which was really tasty. I love a good greasy spoon.
I'm having the best dreams lately though. My most recent awesome one involved Gilligan's island. The professeur died of a heart attack, and we buried him half assedly in a tree truck such that he was still sticking out. We therefore covered him in tissue paper. Over the night (done with time lapse dreaming) the Mummy king rose out of the lagoon (because that's where everything happens) and resurectted the professeur into a mummy/zombie. He then spent the next while sucking people's blood.
hey I just realised something I never made that Epic cd for the Julia. Well I finished it but i didn't like it, but now I think I know how to correct it. i was actually thinking about it on the bus ride home today. When i realised that the song i was listenning to was quite epic. That's a great story isn't it.
I will you with these words written by none other than Black Francis. "We got to get some beer. we ain't got no atmosphere. From looking into the sun. looking into the sun"
Anyway, I don't actually check hotmail of my home e-mail, you know because i no longer live at home, but if you want to reach me.
