Update! "Swimming"!
Alright, since I haven't update this thing for a really long time now, I guess I will just start this entry with events from yesterday night/this morning. So I was trying to finish my Jewish Studies paper when I realized my brain wasn't working. So Teresa and Juan decided to take me to Fatburger to get inspirations for my paper. We arrived at Fatburger around 1 something, and got like the Fat Deal Combo or whatever, which probably added like a million calories to my intake for the day instantly. Anyhow, so we went to Rite Aid after Fat burger (that was dinner #2 by the way), where Juan and Teresa being their usual selves looked at and shared insights with each other about condoms. AS for me, I bought energy drink so I can stay up and start on my paper at 2am. So I worked on my paper for an hour when I returned to the apt, and when to sleep at around 4 since I have to wake up at 7:30 am the same morning (Sat. morning) for volunteer work. By some divine miracle, Teresa and I managed to wake up in the morning, and we embarked on our journey to Griffith Park, where we were suppose to volunteer in a LA river clean up project. We got a little lost at first, but eventually found the place where volunteers met. We start off kind of slow just pick up trash near on the river's concrete bank, but then seeing all the fun that kids and adults are having in the river, we (or I rather, and dragged teresa with me) decided to join them. To begin with, Teresa fell into the water twice, hence the name swimming in the LA river. And as for me, I almost fell into multiple times too. The water was green, and smelled really bad! As we picked up trash, we have a tendency to swing things at each other, so we both taste a little of the water, and trust me it is not tasty. Anyhow, we stopped at around twelve and returned to the apt, where I kind of finished my paper by randomly putting facts together, and then I passed out on my bed until now.
