Maroon 5 Album Finally Made

It's been a long time since Maroon 5's debut and latest album, Songs About Jane came out (probably about four and a half years). Finally, the new album, It Won't Be Soon Before Long has been leaked, giving a preview about what fans of the artists are going to stumble upon.

The starter, If I Never See Your Face Again, isn't the best song ever. It's alright and easy to listen to, though. This track is more of a song that you'd turn to if you had nothing to listen to. Makes Me Wonder, was the first single released to promote the album, and I've already said previously that it sounded like typical Maroon 5 material. Little Of Your Time is kind of catchy, but not as much as Makes Me Wonder. It's upbeat and funky like most Maroon 5 songs, but it still doesn't make you infatuated with the record just yet.

Wake Up Call is a better song than the previous tracks. However, there are still other songs that you would rather listen to. Won't Go Home Without You isn't exactly a She Will Be Loved (see Songs About Jane), but it's slightly better than the other songs on the album. It pretty much follows the same steady pace like She Will Be Loved, except She Will Be Loved carries more of a mellow sound,
opposing this particular tune. Nothing Lasts Forever sounds like a song you'd hear while shopping at a Gap. Anyhow, it's still a good song, and doesn't entirely disappoint you like other tunes from the record.

So far, I'm not impressed. Everything sounds the same and nothing really outshines anything else. The songs don't sound too good, either. I mean, they sound alright, but they just don't seem like anything that would get much acclaim. Can't Stop is probably the only decent song next to Makes Me Wonder on the album. Goodnight Goodnight seems like a better song, too, but it doesn't really fit the album since most of the songs on it are so quick and jangly. You can say that Not Falling Apart isn't the worst song on the album; it's actually pretty good.

Kiwi was an interesting title choice when looking at the other track titles. The song is okay, but it doesn't completely dazzle you. Better That We Break is different than the other songs on the album, and is sort of like the next track, Back At Your Door. There's a bonus track called Infatuation; though not horrible, I still don't fancy the song.

Songs About Jane wasn't a bad album. When I first heard of it, I was only acquainted with a few songs from it, and they were only the singles that the band released. I gave the album a listen and liked some songs from the record. However, It Won't Be Soon Before Long is a bit of a disappointment. You would think that given all this time to make an album, it would be really really good, but it's not. The album is just ...Maroon 5. F
