The 'I Think I'm in Love' Mix Tape

Here's a varied list of songs, all about love. And even when they're not happy, they're still adequate for the list. And here's a scene from the movie, Love Actually, which is one of the sweetest.

1. Think I'm in Love - Beck
Beck is able to experiment with different sounds and mixes of instruments and get away with it, too. This song is one of his simplest and sweetest. This song will just keep playing over and over again in your head.

2. Sunday - Bloc Party
Kele Okereke is able to put together cryptic lyrics and nice sounding melodies together to create the perfect song. The only thing is, with Sunday, the lyrics are straight forward, so a listener doesn't even have to think so hard to figure about the meaning of Okereke's words.

3. The Aspidistra Files - Stars
This is such a fun song to listen to even if it's not one of those quick and jumpy tunes. In the song, you're pretty much transported into a telling of emotions a guy has for someone. I have to say that this song is one of those songs that don't really sound like anythings Stars would do.

4. Don't Be Afraid to Sing - Stars
Stars almost always sing about the emotions and the feelings about being caught up in love. This song doesn't tell otherwise. A track off Heart, which basically tells the listener that even though the relationship can end, cherish it, and don't be afraid to love.

5. Razorblade - The Strokes
Once you hear this song, you can understand why everyone gets so hyped up over the Strokes. The band is able to have Barry Manilow's sound added into an all-cool Strokes song.

6. Maps - Yeah Yeah Yeahs
I'm not too familiar with stuff from this band, but I know enough from this song to know that these guys are able to make good music. I do know how Karen O sings from the song Hello Tomorrow, which can be heard on a commercial advertising Adidas shoes. Just that song alone will make you want to discover more songs from the band.

7. Baby I - Amy Millan
Whether she's going solo or touring with the supergroup, Broken Social Scene, Amy Millan will always be "the girl from Stars" in my mind. Her solo album has a country-ish sound and feel to it, and isn't really much like Stars. Of course, Millan has said that some of her songs were written years before Stars, so I guess I can see how Honey From the Tombs was created.

8. Bones - The Killers
Although The Killers were a little disappointing with Sam's Town, some songs on the record were actually good. Bones, one of the released singles from the album can be considered one of the band's best songs, even if not on the best album.
