This is a sad day here in the world of shades
but even pain has its own beauty
even pain can perform a lovely face.

Blinding stream, double-edged,
in an extra-terrestrial gloom,
beautiful creation of steel
grown in my barren womb...

They way into the light will
separate me from my flesh,
myriads in their birth-giving red
swimming forcefully through-out space.

This darkest space is wide
and the mountain is still so high,
fly up my black little eyes
and cross the frontiers that dare to define my life...

No space too vast and surely no place too far,
the groping sister feels that her eyes
must be somewhere alive.

So she is afraid of all the dwellers of the dark
in their blindness they will never understand
the tempting gift of sight.

This place is cold, blindly she can feel
the dead wind caressing the rocks
from high above they come way down,
these angels kissing our undead bodies to stone...

Got a big plan, this mindset maybe its right
At the right place and right time, maybe tonight
And the whisper or handshake sending a sign
Wanna make out and kiss hard, wait nevermind

Late night, and passing, mention it flipped her
Best friend, who knows saying maybe it slipped
But the slip turns to terror and a crush to light
When she walked in, he throws up, believe its the fright

Its cute in a way, till you cannot speak
And you leave to have a cigarette, your knees get weak
An escape is just a nod and a casual wave
Obsessed about it, heavy for the next two days

It's only just a crush, it'll go away
It's just like all the others it'll go away
Or maybe this is danger and you just don't know
You pray it all away but it continues to grow

I want to hold you close
Skin pressed against me tight
Lie still, and close your eyes girl
So lovely, it feels so right

I want to hold you close
Soft breasts, beating heart
As I whisper in your ear

I want to f*cking tear you apart

Then he walked up and told her, thinking that he'd passed
And they talked and looked away a lot, doing the dance
Her hand brushed up against his, she left it there
Told him how she felt and then they locked in a stare

They took a step back, thought about it, what should they do
Cause theres always repercussions when you're dating in school
But their lips met, and reservations started to pass
Whether this was just an evening or a thing that would last

Either way he wanted her and this was bad
He wanted to do things to her it was making him crazy
Now a little crush turned into a like
And now he wants to grab her by the hair and tell her

I want to hold you close
Skin pressed against me tight
Lie still, and close your eyes girl
So lovely, it feels so right

I want to hold you close
Soft breasts, beating heart
As I whisper in your ear
I want to f*cking tear you apart

Essay Prompts

1. Character: What is your character's basic idea (or ideas) of a family? When this character is told that a family did this or a family has that, what is his, her, or its first thought? Is this thought or idea informed on his, her, or its own experiences with family or based on something different?

2. Setting: What is the religion or what are the religions of your world? If there is no religion, in what do the people of your world place their faith? Is it a faith-based system of belief or a system of empiricism? Many of our curse words are based on the idea of religion (Damn, Hell) or on the idea of core values (bastard, whore). What are the core values of your world and do they have anything to do with religion, or simply an idea of what is right and what is wrong? Where does that idea come from?
