i've been blogging too much
i've been writing in this too much. for me anyway. i know some people who can't seem to stop writing in theirs, by comparison.
work is going well enough. things sort of settled into a normal pace. on tuesday (and every tuesday) my team has pub night. since last week's was cancelled, i had my first experience with it on tuesday. it was awesome. my group is extremely cohesive, and has lots of friends in neighboring groups. it just goes to show that people can still be cool after college.
also, i think i found the neighborhood of seattle that i'd like to live in when i come out here for good. it's called capitol hill, and has a very ann arbor/royal oak type vibe to it. it has a nice little downtown, with lots of bars and restaurants, and a lot of pedestrian traffic.
speaking of bar outings, i'm going again tonight, but this time it's on amazon's dime. they're taking all of the interns who've started thus far out for dinner and drinks to a local brewery. it's the same place they did it at last year. it was fun, i just hope the food is better.
oh, also, my entire group drives really nice cars. i can't wait for that.
