so begins week 8 of my summer on the west coast. i've told some of you, but they've asked me to stay 2 weeks longer, so i will not be home until august 14th, at which time we may begin "rocking the house" or hizzouse, whichever you prefer. the weeks go by fairly quickly, as i'm not home much for time to drag by, atleast not on weekdays.
we've still yet to go to vancouver, and i've still yet to drink heavily in this city. the 4th of july is coming up this weekend, and although i had planned on relaxing at home while steve and mike were in vegas, it was not to be. now we have to find something to do. if the weather is nice, i imagine we'll drive out to the beach, or maybe portland for the day, or something. who knows. steve still is off the wagon, or on the wagon, i don't know which. i guess it depends on whether or not they serve alcohol on the wagon, making it more like a party bus. well, whatever, steve can't drink yet, which is probably good, the fewer bottle caps he tries to remove with his teeth, the better.
i've said it before and i'll say it again: i'm looking forward to coming back. i'm having a great time out here, but work is work, and school is not. i want to buy a car, i want to bum around livonia for a week, i want to visit state, and i want to go to windsor. on the other hand, i do enjoy living downtown and making fat sacks of cash money. i'll try to make the most of these last 6 weeks, make an impression here, and maybe even get a patent.
in other news, i get paid this week, which is good, because i like $500 credit card bills no more than that next guy.
