homesick? nah. just sick. i could go for another change right about now. as much as i like having a routine, i also like having free time. a week or two sitting around livonia will be nice. i need to catch up on my videogames, lest i lose my dork cred. it'll be nice to see the state guys before (or after) they move into their apartment up there.
i also need to buy a car. since i've decided for sure to do the grad school thing, my parents essentially withdrew their support of my getting a car. that doesn't mean i'm not going to get one, i just have to lower the bar a little bit. it will be nice to be able to drive again, you don't know how much you miss it until it's gone. isn't that the sad truth of everything?
cozy though it may be, and feminine though my roommates may be, i'm looking forward to moving back to ann arbor. we'll have to throw a series of housewarming parties, until the house is so warmed that it may be deemed hot, as suns are hot. there are a variety of fun, and potentially promiscuous party themes, old and new, tried and true.
- a champagne party? sweet. everyone rolls around with their own bottle of champagne, and we drink like cash money millionaires. my personal favorite.
- a pajama party? it's been tried, and boy, does it ever work. as far as pure fun per square inch, you can't go wrong with an alcoholic pajama party.
- 80's party? the classic college staple. oh, how we long for simpler times and brighter colors.
post your idea for a party theme. depending on when we move back in, we'll have up to 2 weeks of raw, unadultered fun from move-in to school starting. and don't think that school starting will slow me down. not starting class before 3:30 does something to a person. you ask about the current status of "the man?" i submit that he is before you.
