checking in from the left coast
all i can tell you about seattle, is that seattle holds it down right. i'm getting a car for the weekend from the relocation company, so we won't be stuck in the queen anne-belltown area. we're going to drive out and check out alki beach, which is supposed to be a decent hotspot. we'll have to see if we can talk up the guy at the rental place to see if we can get a better car than just a compact.
i hate to say it, but i'm kind of looking forward to school starting. not the actual classes, although those won't be too bad, but just the college atmosphere. every new group of interns is even more tool-ish than the last. i'd say theres maybe 7 or 8 people tops, out of 80, that i wouldn't actively like to hit with a hammer. i could genuinely go for a good house party with a keg right about now, and some girls that aren't on the arm of some goofy-looking douchebag.
