I stole this from the wonderful Miss Brooke.
1) Where did you begin 2007?
*Joey's apartment and misc. bars, ushering in the new year with beards and corn cob pipes.
*Living in Munson Hall on the CWU campus in Ellensburg.
2) Where were you in school in 2007?
Finishing my last year at CWU.
3) How was your love life by Valentine's Day?
I don't do Valentine's Day.
4) How did you earn your money?
Working as an RA for University Housing and New Student Programs, selling electronics at Target during spring break, doing an internship with GE over the summer, working as a personal assistant to the Assistant Director of UH&NSP, and helping my mom clean houses.
5) Did you have to go to the hospital?
Luckily no. Let's keep it that way.
6) Did you have any encounters with the police?
Yes, but nothing bad. When you work as an RA, you can't really avoid encounters with the Campus Police.
7) Where did you go on vacations?
Roadtrip to Astoria with Dan, Brooke and Duncan. Vacations require money, which is one resource I haven't has the luxury of having in excess.
8) What did you purchase that was over $500?
My laptop.
9) What did you purchase that was over $1000.
Nothing.
10) Did you know anybody who got married?
No weddings in 2007, but 2008 is a different story. Travis and Heidi are getting married in June.
11) Did you know anybody who passed away?
Luckily, no.
12) Did you move anywhere?
To Yakima for the summer, back to Ellensburg and into a house with my friend Alex and his sister Liz, and recently back home after graduation.
13) What concerts/shows did you go to?
The Draft, Chuck Ragan, Warped Tour, Young Love, and Turbonegro. There's probably some more in there somewhere, but I can't remember right now.
14) Are you registered to vote?
In Washington.
15) What reality television show do you wish you had been on this year?
This isn't really a reality show, but I wouldn't mind going on Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader.
16) Describe your birthday?
Strawberry Shortcake posters, surprise visits, Wii, Guitar Hero, best friends, lots of beer and bbq, and to top it all off... a dash of disappointment.
17) What's one thing you thought you wouldn't do but did in 2007?
Live in Yakima.
18) What's one thing you wanted to do but didn't do in 2007?
Travel.
19) What's one thing you thought you wouldn't do and regret doing in 2007?
Nothing comes to mind.
20) What has been your favorite moment?
Finally graduating.
21) What's something you learned about yourself?
I need to learn a little thing called self control.
22) What's something you learned about the world?
Christmas is some much better when you don't have to work retail...
I learned about different world religions, their history, and the religions basic teachings.
23) Any new additions to your family?
Nope.
24) What was your best month?
Probably January through June.
25) What music will you remember 2007 by?
All the Minus the Bear albums, Turbonegro, The Draft, Chuck Ragan, Young Love, Interpol and the newest Brand New album.
26) What people will you remember 2007 by?
Too many to name, here are the highlights: Alison, Brandon, Teri, Lisa, Anna, Tessa, Eric, Taran and Amanda, Portland Dan (or the Dan formerly known as Dan Topic) and Brooke, Duncan, Stein, Alex and Liz, Fred, Jesse, and Amber.
27) Made new friends?
Always.
28) Best "new friend"?
It's a toss up between Teri and Lisa.
29) Best new hotspot?
No new hotspots, sticking to the classics like the Reef and the Tav.
30) Best restaurant of the year?
Teriyaki and Wok.
31) Best movie you saw this year?
The only one that comes to mind is Superbad.
32) Best book you read?
The Complete Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
33) Favorite gift of the year?
Unicorn vs. Narwhal action figures.
