Holy Shit! It has been such a long time, that updating seems almost alien. The school year so far has been awesome. My classes are easier than I though they would be. My math class may be a bit frustrating at times, but in all its not bad.
Another awesome thing about this year such far, is the people that I've been able to get to know and hang out with. Compared to last year, I didn't start meeting people till like the end of winter quarter, I've already met way more people. Alison has her rad manager's apartment, and she cooks a lot. I get to go over there and eat cookies, drink chai, and listen to good music with a great friend. Carter, Wally and Dustin live upstairs. I'm really glad that I got to know those guys and get to hang out with them on a regular basis. I've also got to hang out with Traci and Jenny more than I saw them last year, definite plus.
I wish I could right down everything about all the concerts I went to, but that would take up way to much space. So for you're convenience, I will condense it greatly.
Himsa DVD release show, and As I Lay Dying. Beyond words. I'm really glad Alison was able to go and marvel in the greatness that is The Man, plus she got to see xLisax. I got to hang out with all my friends too, which was a plus. Can't wait for Jan 25, that DVD is gonna be so hot.
Voodoo Glow Skulls... fan for eight years, haven't seen them in concert. That all change last month, and boy had I missed out, because they put on such a great show.
TBS. Both shows were so great, despite technical difficulties on Thursday. I really have to thank Alison for introducing me to all her friends. They are so rad, but I already knew that because she wouldn't settle for anything less. My Chemical Romance, and Matchbook Romance were also very excellent, but sitting through Fall Out Boy, Lost Prophets, and Story of the Year was painful to say the least.
Dillinger Escape Plan, Every Time I Die, and Zao. Haven't heard a lot of any of these bands, but I was getting pretty into Dillinger before I saw them. All I have to say is that I was impressed. Its amazing how a live show can change your impression of a band.
Bright Eyes. Again not a super fan of the group, and by group I mean the Conor or how ever you spell his name. Not to say that I don't like Bright Eyes, I'm just a new fan. But WOW, what a good show. I'll repeat it again, it amazing how a live performance can sway your opinion of someone. P.S. I don't think I've ever seen Alison quite so giddy.
Really looking forward to Hot Water Music, I've been waiting so long to see them, and it seems that every time they came to Washington I was miraculously broke. Oh well, I'm gonna go, and I'm gonna rock my fucking sock off.
P.S. Acey Ducey is the most aggravating game ever... EVER!
