018 - hungry Angel is grumpy Angel :c

How old are you people?

You don't want to feed the vampires, don't donate blood. And don't pressure anyone into giving blood. If they don't want to donate, that's their right. That why it's called "donate."

You wanna donate blood? Do it safely, with trained medical personnel. Don't listen to vampires if they say they need more blood. They don't ( Read more... )

grumpy angel is very grumpy, downsides of being a vampire, drusilla

Cut the self-righteous tripe. Real, normal people aren't used to dying and coming back, and you've no right to tell them how they should respond to such experiences just because you're a veteran of it.

Although I have to say, I do support the 'lock the inept warden up with their twit of an inmate' idea. It would save us all the tedium of listening to their drama ad nauseum.

Sure, it's traumatizing. So go see a shrink. We've got one on board. Get help. Be proactive instead of taking it out on people who may or may not be to blame.

I'm glad you at least agree to that.

The only ones I'm interested in taking it out on are the vampires, since one of them drained me the other week, and apparently another attacked somebody this very week. And instead of being locked up indefinitely and treated like the monsters they are, there's all of this idiotic talk of blood drives to feed the giant parasites.

Like I said, you don't want to feed the vampires, don't donate blood.

Which one drained you? And which one attacked this somebody?

Those who donate need to stop harping on it to the rest of us every ten bloody minutes, then. It's a safety hazard to keep these creatures running around. Then using that hazard as "incentive" to make people do what they don't want to is fucking disgusting.

I don't know her name. The new one, with the dark hair. And the one who attacked 'this somebody' happens to be the one just recently released from Level 0, which is where ALL of the vampires need to be.

I'll let them know.

Who's your warden? And who got attacked?

Right. I'm sure you'll be terribly effective, too.

Why do you want to know who my Warden is?

And that annoying blonde twit got attacked. I'm not talking about any new attacks here.

Just... let me deal with it.

You got drained by a vampire. I've got a concern.

I've been... distracted the past few days. Which blonde twit are we talking about? There's more than one blonde aboard.

...Morgan Adams. That's my Warden.

The one who's always alternately trying to kill or shag people like every OTHER female inmate we've ever had. Elle.

I...I'm sorry, Angel, but I can't...

Elle tortured...

She almost killed me recently. I can't...

I can't listen to that sort of thing right now.

I'm sorry, I didn't know.

Do you need anything? Anyone to talk to?

I honestly don't know what I need.

I can't even draw blood for the vampires, because my fingers are all bandaged up. They're too clumsy to handle a needle right now.

She pushed toothpicks under my fingernails. Down to the place where the cuticle begins.

I don't feel safe anymore.

If you could find someone else to fill in for me at the blood drives until I can trust my hands again, I'd be in your debt.

Peter said he'd help.

Don't worry about it.

And I'm really sorry.

Don't worry about that. Taking care of yourself is more important. Peter's got it covered.

If you want to stay with me, I've got a couch I can sleep on. I can protect you.

And if you ever need to talk, I understand the mental scars that are left after the physical ones have healed. Something like that... it's not something you should have to suffer alone. That's what she'd want. In times like these, we have to band together instead of pushing each other away.
