i swore i would never get a livejournal
but then again, i also swore i would never get a myspace. for now i will just write about my week... which has been crazy.
*my "check engine" light on my dashboard turned on last week.
*a girl quit at my work with no notice, and on my day off this past saturday, i had to go in and hire a new girl. i re-did the schedule. now the new girl (who hasn't started yet) isn't sure if she can even take the job.
*my collage class portfolio is turning out pretty well. i have so many other things to experiment with before the semester is over. my professor is undoubtedly the coolest teacher i have ever had, it's very inspiring.
*my feminism midterm was canceled on tuesday. no explanation. we had a speaker instead. she translated the english version of "Our Bodies, Ourselves" into spanish. she was a pretty rad lady...she's an eastern european latina (read: russian AND cuban refugee) psychology professor.
*i didn't do last week's drawing homework, but that was okay because my teacher didn't even ask for it. today in class, i started what i feel might be my favorite piece so far.
*i got my excise tax bill for my Jetta today. it was a hundred dollars cheaper than it should have been.
*my check engine light went OFF today. maybe it was the cold weather. she just had a bug, or the flu. but i loved her enough that it went away.
