Here's a weird thingy. Our cable company provides pretty much the worst service ever. Yeah, there's a shocker.
Not just the customer service (that's a given), but the actual Internet service. Goes out like every other week.
"Someone cut a fiber cable."
"AT&T is doing maintenance."
"We're not sure why it's out."
Yeah whatever. I pay for the service, make it happen. These are your problems, not mine.
So I've gone back to DSL to see if these new guys can be more reliable.
The DSL was just activated today, and the cable Internet is still going because I wasn't about to kill one until the other was running. So for the moment we've got two broadband connections in the house.

'Course tomorrow I'm telling the cable folks to go get fucked. And I may very well say exactly that to them.
But until then it's kinda cool. Not really worth anything (not like you can use more than one connection at a time), but still nifty.
