[The video flickers and the screen is filled with largely incomprehensible images accompanied by the sound of cheering and jeering. There's a flash of green, a spurt of red and then lots of rolling. The device comes to rest close to the wall of an arena. Once it steadies out the action becomes more clear. More clear in the 'oh there's Buffy being ( Read more... )

...[just a deeply concerned Hatter--he loves you, Buffy, and though you may be a tough cookie, you will never avoid his affectionate fussing]

[Poor Tarrant. Affectionate fussing is always allowed especially when she's missing people from home]

...My heart is entirely with you, Buffy. I am very sorry. [there will be so much hugging.]

[he turns on the threshold of their balcony, standing atop a chair, an ornate lamp in his hand--he's attempting to hang it from the overhang jutting above the doors--there are a few more about the apartment, including some he's just given up on connecting to the wiring there]

..Home design was never my strong creativity. I like people much more than..well...this.

[he gives her a smile, gesturing the table--seems he's tried his hand at some hot chocolate, two mugs there] It's still quite warm.

[She picks up a mug, takes a sip then sits down at the table.]

Thank you. It's good. [Tea is comforting but hot chocolate is just decadently comforting]
