I want to thank everyone who's been looking in on me. I appreciate the concern.

[Warden Filter]I think I missed something. Four days, at least. I just woke up in the infirmary and it's, what, Saturday? The last thing I remember was dinner on Tuesday ( Read more... )

You missed... I'm not sure what it was, but we all turned into entirely different people. Is that usual here?

When you're a little better, would you mind filling something in for me? If you can't read it, I can ask you the questions in person. It'd be really helpful if you did.

...That sounds like par for the course on the Barge, Eddie.

I can read. It'll take me some time, but I can. What is it?

Yes, but we weren't people we knew - I wasn't my dad or something, I was some weird journalist in a town, and we weren't even on the Barge any more.

It's a questionnaire about the comas. I'm trying to do some research into them and find out why they happen. You don't have to fill it in. But it'd be really helpful if you could.

Pretty alright.

Getting over having my vision changed around, mainly, and now looking for a camera. Got an experiment I want to do.

Are you much better?

I can see. That's something. Thanks.

What's the experiment?

That is a definite improvement.

Well, at home, a man accidentally left the exposure on his camera open and fell asleep. The resulting picture helped us work out how the planet moved.

I was thinking that if I did the same on deck, I could work out how the Barge moved.

I'd definitely be interested in having a look at the results.

I'm working on getting a camera that'll do it, but it might produce something interesting.
