[Sarah is, thankfully, back to her normal self, with her khaki shirts and loose trousers. She looks rested.]
The fun never stops around here, does it?
I just spent the past four days succumbing to peer pressure. That's definitely a new one for me. You know, when I was a kid, I loved school; I missed two days -
[She holds up two fingers for emphasis.]
- in my sophomore year. Education is empowerment; it's a method of bettering yourself - no matter your background or class. It's important to receive the education you can, while you can.
[She shakes her head and looks down, tapping her fingers on the desk.]
This kid...This kid looked for every opportunity to get out of it. [Scoff.] I found a notepad she used to practice forging Paddy's signature. Bad forgeries. She wasn't even trying. Are teachers that gullible in the next century, or do they just not care?
[Frowning, she waves it off.]
I didn't have a chance to interact with my inmate. I guess I missed the point of the whole port, there. I'm sorry about that, Louis.
We should do something together. You know. Get to know one another.
Is everyone else all right? I heard a lot of people wound up having gender reassignment.
