Mark Hoffman told me the world is going to end if I don't stay with Amanda, but I have to pee and I'm really hungry.

[And that is where she has been for the past 24 hours. Sitting in Amanda's room. Panicking.]

[Added Later:]Nevermind. I'm okay now ( Read more... )

It might make you feel better for a little while, but not for long.

Why on earth did he tell you that?

He said it was a figure of speech, but I don't understand.

What, you mean like he was-

[Think, think, think.]

Do you think he was trying to compare it to the world ending?

That still seems a little extreme.

No. No, I don't think he was. He didn't say it like that. He said the world would end if I don't stay with her.

[So confused.]

And now he's yelling at me and says I'm in the wrong. I must be in the wrong, but I don't know what I did. I hope I can fix it.

I'm really glad I got to pee. And eat. I was really hungry. I didn't eat all day yesterday and then this happened so I probably overindulged.

Maybe it will all make sense once the flood is over. I have this nagging feeling today that there's something dreadfully wrong, but I can't seem to put my finger on it.

I hope it makes sense. Some people are acting very weird, like Hoffman and Lupin.

Weirdly how? Apart from saying that the world will end when it won't, I mean.

They keep telling me they think I'm affected by the flood, but they're the ones who are saying things that aren't.

...This is part of that uncomfortable feeling I'm talking about. The disconnect between people who say they aren't affected and what they're saying.

Something's off.
