It will be evident a week from now when everyone is either stunned or embarrassed about what they did a week ago.
In the meantime, there is nothing we can do about it.

Nope. Even if we figure out what is happening to us, which is rare, floods are often really difficult to damage control while they are still going on. Do you remember the puppets?
